1. Good for Diabetics (type 2)

Antioxidants in coffee play a very important role, which is to improve the sensitivity of the insulin cells, which helps regulate blood sugar. In fact, according to some studies, people who drank 2 or more cups of coffee a day are less likely to get diabetes type 2.

2. Protects your heart

If you consume a moderate amount coffee (1 to 3 cups a day), then the chances of having a heart attack are much smaller than those people who do not consume, again thanks to antioxidants contained in coffee. Coffee contains more antioxidants than even a bowl of cranberries. These antioxidants can help to avoid the harmful effects of inflammation of the arteries. Immediately after you drink coffee, it raises your blood pressure and heart rate, but looking at the long run, it can actually lower blood pressure, because the antioxidants in coffee release nitric oxide, which dilates the veins.

3. It’s great for your liver

Although research in this area is limited but does it show that coffee drinkers are less likely to develop cirrhosis or other liver diseases. An analysis of nine studies found that 2 cups of coffee a day reduces your risk of liver cancer by 43%. Caffeine and antioxidants are those that act preventively against cancer and inflammation of the liver.

4. Helps with headaches

Coffee helps you beat your headache, not just those caused by skipping a daily dose of coffee. Studies show that 200 milligrams of caffeine (about 470 milliliters of boiled coffee)can provide relief from a headache. It is not yet entirely clear how coffee helps beat headaches. But scientists know that caffeine increases the activity of brain cells, causing constriction of the surrounding blood vessels. According to one theory, this clamping helps to reduce the pressure caused by pain.

5. Improves brain functions

Studies suggest that drinking 1 to 3 cups of coffee a day can reduce the risk of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease. Antioxidants keep brain cells from harm and help the neurotransmitters involved in the execution of cognitive functions work better.
